Use items without depending on them
Green Balloon can assist vertical movement and fall outcomes, while Red Apple can restore health after recoverable damage. Yellow Compass can help practice difficult maps. Their official descriptions support those roles, but none guarantees survival and none explains the 1,000 counter.

The badge description says one thousand disasters, while ordinary community language sometimes treats a completed round and a survived disaster interchangeably. A Power round may display several hazards, but the public badge record does not say how the milestone counter increments. Do not multiply your estimate by the power level.
Use only an in-game survival statistic or badge progression signal that you can actually observe. Record before and after one ordinary round and one Multi-Disaster round if the interface exposes a number. Until that test is complete, estimate conservatively.
Common milestone mistakes
Grinding one “easy” map: the disaster still changes, and repeated interactions can become careless. Standing on the edge to avoid crowds: a single knock removes the whole round. Resetting when the hazard looks finished: wait for the official result. Using exploits or idle scripts: they risk the account and do not produce a trustworthy normal-play route.
